Curriculum Scope and Sequence
Each area of the curriculum follows an organized outline for each level or grade the school offers. Educators refer to this as the scope and sequence. Sometimes this organization is provided by the textbook publisher and adopted or modified by the school using the curriculum.
If there is no textbook, the school or the teacher provides the scope and sequence. This would apply to physical education, fine arts and other selected areas of the curriculm.
Parents wishing to learn more about scope and sequence at Mt. Zion are encouraged to speak to the principal or the respective classroom teachers.
