Purpose and Philosophy

Mt. Zion Lutheran School is a Lutheran Christian school for children ages onehappy girl photo through second grade.  The Early Learning Center serves children beginning with toddlers through Kindergarten.  The Elementary School offers a quality Christian educational program for children in grades one and two.

Mt. Zion Lutheran School is a ministry owned and operated by Mt. Zion Lutheran Church and serves members of the congregation and the community.  The church supports this ministry for Christian nurture and outreach with the message of God’s love in Jesus Christ, and at the same time provides a strong age-appropriate academic curriculum and a wholesome and safe learning environment.  We seek to develop a strong partnership with parents by offering opportunities for parent participation in school activities and having an open communication between home and school.

The purpose of Mt. Zion Lutheran School is accomplished when, in keeping with our stated mission and vision, the following objectives are established:

Non-Discrimination Policy

Mt. Zion Lutheran School admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school.  It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national or ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship and loan program, and athletic and other school-administered programs.
