Financial Information
As a ministry of the congregation, the members of Mt.
Zion Lutheran Church support, in part, the cost of providing this Christian
school option for its members and the community. Parents are also required to pay tuition
and other fees which are competitive with other private and Christian schools
in the vicinity of Mt. Zion. Scholarships and grants are available

Tuition and Childcare Discounts and Financial Aid
In the spirit of “Embracing All in Our Community” Mt. Zion Lutheran Church and School has a strong commitment to the people and families it serves in its ministries. For the school, this commitment is demonstrated by the intentional focus on keeping tuition and childcare costs below those of other Boulder community private schools, preschools, and childcare centers. This is accomplished through a heavy subsidy of the operation costs of the School and Early Childhood Center by the faithful and mission driven members (past, present, and future) of the Mt. Zion Lutheran Church congregation.
- There is a 10% discount for the first child of active members of Mt. Zion Lutheran Church.
- There is a 20% discount for the second, third, and fourth sibling’s tuition in elementary school or full time child care. (5 days/week)
- If you refer a family to Mt. Zion and they enroll and stay for at least
a semester, you will receive one month of free tuition for one child
(up to $400).
Employees of the Five Largest Non-Government Employers in the City of Boulder
There is a 5% discount for employees of the five largest non-government employers in the City of Boulder. This discount cannot be combined with any other discount offered. Mt. Zion Lutheran School is dedicated to reaching to, and connecting with, those who live and work in the Boulder community. Mt. Zion recognizes that employees, who often commute into Boulder and can have unusual work hours, have high expectations and unique education and childcare needs for their children. Mt. Zion is committed to extending a partnership with the employees of the five largest employers in Boulder (as defined in the annual Boulder County Business Report Book of Lists) and offer a 5% tuition and childcare discount to all employees of these entities:
University of Colorado
IBM Corporation
Ball Corporation
Boulder Community Hospital
