Preschool
2-½ through 4 year old children
Mt. Zion’s preschool program is built around monthly themes. Children
are involved in these and many other activities in the course of the
year:
- Housekeeping, dress up play
- Gym, outdoor, play
- Sand and water table
- Multisensory activities: beans, noodles, paper mache, shaving cream, playdough
- Painting: water colors, tempera, finger painting, sponge painting
- Blocks, legos, connectors, trains, airplanes, trucks
- Hands on math, puzzles
- Field trips, guest speakers, assemblies
- Healthy snacks, cooking
- Caring for plants and fish
- Calendar and weather
- Bible Stories, songs, finger plays
- Weekly jobs, responsibilities
